Enneagram Pre-Work

Start Here

In preparation for our time together, there is some important pre-work that needs to be completed. This pre-work will help to orient your reflections and allow us to gain as much as possible from our time together in person. This guide will walk you through the steps and options for the pre-work.

  1. First, each participant needs to review their Enneagram report that was provided by completing the assessment through Integrative9.

  2. Second, each participant should learn some introductory information about the Enneagram. We want everyone to come in with some familiarity of key language and constructs that are embedded within the Enneagram system. For this task, we have selected several different options. Please choose one of the options below that best suits your learning style. Many of these resources involve the author and Enneagram expert, Beatrice Chestnut. Her work on the Enneagram is excellent and you will see her name many times on the resources list for this workshop.

  3. Once you have identified your type and engaged with the introductory content about the Enneagram, we want you to spend some time on a few reflection prompts.

Please spend some time (between 20 and 40 minutes) reflecting on these questions:

    1. In what ways did your Enneagram type capture key strengths that you naturally bring to your work?

    2. What do you need in order to access those strengths? Think about this in terms of what you need from your self, your manager, and your team members.

    3. What hinders you from expressing these strengths? Think about this in terms of what you need from your self, your manager, and your team members.

    4. What aspect of your Enneagram type do you wish others understood about you?
