Christy LaLonde

Christy is an Enneagram Teacher with over 10 years of experience with the tool. She decided to pursue formal training in the Enneagram system after experiencing the instrumental impact it had on her personal growth process.

As an Enneagram Teacher, Christy draws on her knowledge of the Enneagram and experience working with clients on a journey of personal and professional growth. Her favorite moments are those when team members are able to see and understand one another with more clarity. Knowing yourself and knowing others has a profound impact on your relationships whether personal or professional. Christy believes that the Enneagram tool is one of the best ways to facilitate that knowing. As a Type 9 (Mediator/Peacemaker), Christy has experienced the unique ability of the Enneagram to identify her own habitual patterns and possible growth paths.

Christy works with individuals to help identify their Enneagram type and possible growth areas. She also does extensive work with teams, identifying their Enneagram types and facilitating conversations about topics such as team communication, decision making, and connection. Her work with teams has given her insight and understanding into the common challenges that face teams as they strive to be effective in whatever their area of work.

Learn More About Christy

  • Inner work is the process of understanding who we are and how that impacts our relationships. This includes identifying our great strengths, our blind spots, and our habitual patterns. It is so important to pursue inner work because these parts of ourselves will impact our lives and specifically our relationships whether we are aware of them or not.

  • There is no substitute for empathetic listening. All humans want to be understood so one of the best gifts we can give to those around us is to listen.

  • My clients describe me as warm, an empathetic listener, knowledgeable and open. I am curious about each person’s story and hold space for their experience of the Enneagram. I avoid definitive statements about who they are or what their type is.

  • I am so fascinated by people and their stories and how the Enneagram identifies common patterns within the human experience. I love seeing people experience moments of clarity in how they see themselves and the people around them. Before an Enneagram workshop I remind myself to “let the Enneagram do its work” because it is so effective at highlighting patterns of relating, that I feel like the assistant sometimes, just pointing out what the Enneagram is teaching us.
